El Mariachi - Moultonborough

This is an amazing restaurant. We had a reservation for 6:15 and got seated at 6:45. Food is absolutely worth the wait. We got the veggie nachos for the table and were 9/10. I got the tacos al carbon and were 12/10. The meat was the most flavorful I’ve ever had.

We loved this very authentic Mexican restaurant in a fairly remote area in New Hampshire. The menu was extremely varied, and the food was excellently prepared. They also have gluten-free options. Our waiter was extremely attentive and kind, and even brought a free dessert for our guest who we took out for her birthday. It was a delightful evening and a pleasant surprise.

This is a great local Mexican restaurant. Having lived in Texas for many years, finding a very good Mexican restaurant in New England was a challenge. But I found it here. There is plenty of seating both inside and out, as well as seating at the well stocked bar. The dining area was clean and tables were cleared and wiped down quickly once vacated. Also, the bathrooms were clean. The staff was friendly, present, attentive and quick. The menu had a wide selection of meat, fish, and vegetarian dishes, the normal Mexican restaurant items plus some things I hadn’t seen before. They had a host of margaritas and other frozen drinks on offer. The homemade chips and salsa were tasty. Our food arrived quickly. I ordered the chicken fajitas which were great. The portion size was more than enough for the price. It was well cooked and came with peppers and onions, fresh guacamole and pico, rice, and refried beans. The price was more than reasonable considering the portion sizes. I will definitely come back!

We arrived later in the evening after a long day of hiking. They welcomed us in, served us delicious food, and made a great margarita. We will definitely be back!.

Everything five stars. If i could rate 10 I would. The food was incredible, the service was amazing as well. Our drinks were always filled and we had enough food for days of leftovers. Definitely recommend, youre most definitely getting your bang for your buck.

10.11.24 our 1st visit here and we loved it. It's right off the road so easy to find, good parking, indoor and outdoor dining. Good service. And most importantly, good quality food. The beef fajitas were seasoned perfectly.

Pleasant atmosphere with a small but classic selection of Mexican favorites. Their portions are generous enough to virtually guarantee plenty of leftovers if you share an appetizer, and perhaps even if you don't get one. The seasoning is traditional and skilled. Everything is well cooked. The decor has a festive mix of modern Mexican and Aztec inspired art. The outdoor seating is well lit for an evening of fresh air, but there's plenty of room inside as well.

We came in at around 8:30pm on a Wednesday and there were a few tables around, nice music in the background and overall a great atmosphere! The decoration is great and don’t even get me started on their food and drinks. One of the best Margaritas I have ever tried. Their food was perfectly seasoned! Even though it’s on the pricier side and a few dishes are smaller, it’s worth the taste. Their dessert is big and very delicious. The services is great, very attentive and friendly. Honestly I would drive the almost 3 hours to eat here again, it’s a great stop to eat if you’re here in the area. Give it a try!!
